Presenter: Matthew Taylor

Matthew joined Cognex in 2010 as a member of the software QA team for Factory Communications.  He subsequently took his deep knowledge to the Technical Support group where he became the subject matter expert on that team and created integration guides and technical notes for various PLCs.  He is now a member of the In-Sight Product Marketing team where he manages the development of new factory floor protocols, robot-guided vision, and Cognex’s various HMI platforms.  Matthew earned a BA from UW-Milwaukee and two Associates degrees in Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology and Industrial Controls from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
